One-Day Awareness Programme
The Department of Political Science, Livingstone Foundation College, organised a One-Day Awareness Programme on 26 June 2026 to observe the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking under the theme, “Lost, But Not Forgotten: Rediscovering Purpose in a World of Pressure.” The programme began with the College Anthem, followed by a welcome address by the Vice Principal (Administration), Ms. L. Achilo Kikon. The resource person, Mr. Jenpu Rhakho Rongmei, delivered an engaging session on the harmful effects of drug abuse, stressing the importance of informed decision-making, resilience, and the role of families and communities in prevention and recovery.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and a photo session, leaving participants with a renewed sense of purpose and collective responsibility towards building a drug-free society.
