Educational Trip to Poilwa Village, Peren

The Department of Education, Livingstone Foundation College, Dimapur, organized an educational trip to Poilwa Village, Peren, on 30th October 2025 under the theme *“Connecting Education with the Essence of Nature.”*. The trip aimed to provide students with experiential learning opportunities in natural surroundings, bridging theoretical knowledge with practical exposure. A total of 32 students from all semesters, along with three faculty members, actively participated in the visit.

During the trip, the team visited several schools in and around Poilwa Village, where students gained valuable insights into the challenges faced by rural educational institutions in varies ways. We also got an opportunity to interact with students from Baptist Higher Secondary School and All St. Higher Secondary Peren, enabling the exchange of academic experiences and the promotion of Livingstone Foundation College as a Higher-Education destination. The group also visited the Sheep Farm, where they witnessed sheep rearing and wool processing.The final stop was Hausum Khel Resort, Poilwa, bordering Dzuluke, that inspired students to appreciate the beauty of nature and develop ecological awareness.
