WORLD EVIRONMENT DAY
National Service Scheme (NSS), Livingstone Foundation International College organised a tree-planting initiative on the occasion of “World Environment Day” on 5th June, 2023. The plantation drive was carried out at home by student volunteers. The volunteers planted trees to broaden the basis for an enlightened opinion and responsible conduct in preserving and enhancing the environment towards achieving sustainable future. The students advocated the need to keep our surroundings green and also to educate and bring about changes, setting an example in society for a better, healthier lifestyle and instilling awareness to combat global warming which has become a major issue posing serious threat to life on earth.
