LFI PARTICIPATES IN CLEANLINESS DRIVE AT MEDZIPHEMA

A total of 37 students from both LFI College as well as School along with 5 mentors and a photographer took part in a massive Cleanliness Drive at Medziphema Local Ground on 2nd October 2021.

The cleanliness drive was carried out to commemorate the celebration of 75 years of India’s Independence under the theme ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ and also to coincide with the 152nd Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation.

The Cleanliness Drive was organized by District Water and Sanitation Mission (DWSM) Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) Dimapur in collaboration with ISA (Act of Kindness)

Along with the students and other sections of the society, the Deputy Speaker took a pledge for a neat and cleaner state. Cleaning of clogged drains and repair of potholes were the main features of the cleanliness campaign.

Along with Livingstone Foundation International, the other organizations which joined hands with PHED, Dimapur in this novel endeavor were the Assam Rifles, Medziphema Town Students’ Union, Medziphema Town Youth Organization, The Beckon Club, Frolic Club and United Falcon Club, Medziphema.
