LFIC visits NSS Adopted Village-Murise
The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit, Livingstone Foundation International College conducted a survey on the topic “Youth not in formal education and regular employment” at the adopted Murise village on May 3, 2023 under the directive of NSS North East Zone and State NSS Officer (Ministry of Youth and Sports). The main objective of the survey was to gather information about the challenges faced by the youths in finding employment or pursuing education. A total of 23 students, 4 NSS teacher representatives, and LFIC NSS Programme Officer took charge of the survey. The denizens of the village actively took part in the survey resulting in a coverage/ sample of 70 households, out of which 23 youth data were collected aged between 15 and 29 who were not in employment or formal education.
