2nd Freshers’ Meet on 9th September 2022

Livingstone Foundation International College Dimapur conducted its 2nd Freshers’ Meet on 9th September 2022 at the LFI Auditorium under the theme “Through Difficulties to Great Things”.

During the first session which was chaired by Ms. Ameka Assumi of 3rd Semester, the Principal of the college, Dr. R. K. Behera delivered the welcome address while the opening song was presented by students of the 3rd Semester.

Speaking at the event, the Chairman of LFI, Dr. Andrew Ahoto Sema reminded the gathering about how a person is self-made by the choices he makes and the things he take in. He exhorted the gathering that the world has so much to offer and that it depends on the individual how he prepares himself to accept whichever input is needed to create the person he desires to be. He further encouraged the students to become great individuals with good hearts and mind sets to bring about a positive change in the society.

Earlier, a special song was presented by Mr. Thejavor of 1st Semester. A special prayer was also pronounced for the freshers by Miss Medozhanuo Tepa, Chaplain cum Councellor of LFI. The formal session concluded with vote of thanks proposed by Mr. Mhademo of 1st Semester.

The second session, chaired by Ms. Sentijungla and Mr. Kedithil of 3rd Semester, witnessed the crowing of Mr & Miss Fresher LFIC 2022.

Miss Kiyekali was crowned the Fresher Queen while Mr. Kevin was titled Fresher King. The Subtitles of Miss Personality, Mr. Personality and Most Popular were bagged by Miss Livino Y. Achumi , Mr. Thejavor Yashii and Mr. Vitoka G. Sumi respectively.

The judges for the contest were Mr. Kiutan Simon, Mrs. Imolangla, Mr. Kikameren and Ms. Tiaienla. Various songs, dance items and martial art performances were presented by the students during the second session.
