STATE LEVEL PAINTING COMPETITION ON ENERGY CONSERVATION  2022

Students from Livingstone Foundation International participated in the State Level Painting Competition on Energy Conservation which was organized at Hotel De Oriental, Kohima on 14th November 2022.

The competition was held under the National Campaign on Energy Conservation 2022 of the Ministry of Power, Government of India and was organized by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Department of Electrical Inspectorate Nagaland Designated Agency, Department of School Education and North East Electrical Power Corporation Ltd. (NEEPCO), Doyang Hydro Power Station.

A total of 51 participants from Group-A and 54 from Group-B from 16 districts of Nagaland participated in the competition. Master Dhruman Das of Grade-IX B from LFI won the 2nd Prize under Category-B for his painting on the theme ‘Let us rise and complete our duty, save energy for nation’. He was awarded with the silver medal, certificate and a cash award of Rs. 30,000/- while Miss Ayushi Bhowal of Grade-IX A had to be satisfied with an appreciation prize for her Category-B painting on the same theme. She was awarded with a certificate and cash award of Rs. 7,500/-

The Competition was held in order to sensitize school children towards Energy Efficiency and Energy Conservation in the domestic sector. The top three winners of the competition in both the categories will now represent the state at the National Level Competition which will be held this year at New Delhi.
