NCC Webinar
The 24 Nagaland (I) COY NCC Kohima under Kohima group organised a webinar in commemoration of the 75thIndependence Day (Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav) on the 1st of July ’21 between 11:00 am to 12:30 pm, wherein, Mr Shiva Baidya of LFI, third officer ANO gracefully conducted the webinar which was attended by more than 57 participants from all over Nagaland.
In the webinar, Mr Shiva gave a poignant presentation on the history of India under the British rule, its issues and the aftermath of freedom as well as the birth and formation of NCC. He also discussed and shed light on various significant acts such as the Regulating Act, 1773, Pitts’s India Act, 1784 and many more which were passed after the independence of our nation. The formation of NCC India in 1948 and the quintessential role it has been playing since then was also taken up which inspired and reinforced the spirit of Nationalism in all. The webinar session concluded by 12:30 pm after a brief yet productive and inspirational presentation.
LFI congratulates Mr Shiva Baidya, for playing both the roles of a diligent Mentor and responsible ANO, third Officer NCC equally well and fulfilling his part in contributing towards making a difference in the world.
