Students’ Council 2026 | Oath-Taking Ceremony
The Oath-Taking Ceremony of the newly elected Students’ Council 2026 was held on 7th July 2026 at the College Auditorium, marking the official beginning of a new chapter in student leadership at Livingstone Foundation College. The programme, chaired by Mr. Tokato K. Sumi, commenced with an opening prayer by Ms. Suipoilie, followed by the College Anthem by the Music Club.
As a gesture of gratitude, certificates of appreciation were presented to the outgoing executives of the Students’ Councils of Livingstone Foundation College and Yemhi Memorial College for their dedicated service and leadership.
The newly elected council members were then introduced, and badges were pinned by the Vice Principal (Academics). Dr. Samuel Longkumer, Principal, administered the oath of office, as the council members pledged to serve the student community with integrity, responsibility, and commitment.
The ceremony concluded with a dedicatory prayer, an address by the newly elected President, Mr. Manpho H. Konyak, and a vote of thanks, inspiring the council to lead with purpose and uphold the values of the institution.
