Educational Field Trip to Khonoma Village
On *20th October 2025*, a one-day educational field trip to Khonoma Village was organized for the 1st Semester students. The visit aimed to promote experiential learning by providing valuable insights into environmental conservation, sustainable practices, and community-based eco initiatives.
Students explored the rich biodiversity of Khonoma and learned about its significance as Asia’s First Green Village. The tour guide also provided detailed explanations about the historic forts and the Morung (traditional Naga communal house), helping students understand their cultural and historical importance.
The trip was organized by the EVS teacher in charge, along with some faculty members, and proved to be both educational and inspiring—enhancing students’ appreciation for nature, history, and cultural heritage.
