Men’s Open Volleyball Tournament
Livingstone Foundation College participated in the Men’s Open Volleyball Tournament held from 9th to 11th September 2026, organized by the 173 Battalion, CRPF, Dimapur, in collaboration with the Sports Authority of India under the Khelo India initiative.
The tournament brought together teams from various institutions and organizations to compete in a spirit of sportsmanship and athletic excellence. Representing Livingstone Foundation College, the team displayed strong teamwork and determination throughout the competition, progressing steadily through the preliminary and knockout rounds.
The team’s disciplined play and coordination saw them advance to the semi-final stage, where they faced a closely contested match against a strong opposing side. Despite their best efforts, the team was narrowly defeated, ending their campaign at the semi-final level.
The Sports Committee and the team extends sincere gratitude to the College management for granting permission and extending support to participate in this event. Their encouragement and confidence in the students played a vital role in making this participation possible.
The Sports Committee also commends the players and the supporting staff for their commitment and competitive spirit, and looks forward to their continued participation and improved performance in future tournaments.
