The Governing Body Meeting of LFI College
Livingstone Foundation International College was held at the College Library today at 2:00 PM. The meeting which was chaired by Dr Andrew Ahoto Chairman of the Governing Body and was attended by a host of members which included Mr. Waren Hollohon, Deputy Secy. Home Department, Dr. Yolila Sangtam, Nagaland University, Dr. Hoito Sema, Medical Supdt. Mon, Dr. Avika Jimo, Medical Officer, AYUSH, District Hospital, Peren, Mr. Imlitoshi, Biotechnologist and Dr. R.K. Behera, Principal, LFIC.
It was a very fruitful meeting wherein we discussed several crucial matters related to the upkeep and development of the College. The members present discussed many important issues like the New Educational Policy and the need to keep ourselves well versed with the same, Choice Based Credit System of Nagaland University, setting up of a fully-functional ICT Lab, Integrated Teacher’s Education Programme, NAAC Accredidation, uniformity of academic session, importance of publishing research papers by teachers, journal, etc.
Earlier the Monthly Reports were read out by the Principal Dr. Ranjan Kumar Behera who also led the meeting in both the invocation as well as the benediction prayers.
