Sec. School on 17<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0and 18<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0August 2018. The programme was attended by 29 English Teachers from 9 CBSE School across the state including LFHSS. The programme was led by Ms. Jaya Chakrawarty, Principal of Kaziranga Academy School, Guwahati and Mrs. Mandakini Dasgupta, PGT from Royal Global School as the Resource Persons. The programme started on 17<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0August at the LFHSS Chapel Hall at around 9:15 AM with the invocation prayer by Mr. Prabhat Mandal, Principal (Academics), LFHSS and went on till 2:00 PM.<br>The schools which attended the CBP included LFHSS, Delhi Public School Dimapur, Hollotoli School Dimapur, Maple Tree School Dimapur, Hope Academy Dimapur, DMI St. Joseph Global School Dimapur, Charis High Academy Chumukedima, G. Rio School Kohima, Sainik School Punglwa and Vivekanada Kendriya Vidyalaya NEEPCO Doyang.<br>The training programme was mainly conducted for enhancing the teachers\u2019 ability of teaching English Language and Literature by applying the latest methodologies and pedagogies of Language Teaching. The training broadly focused on the imparting of the four basic skills of Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking to the students by some applied and tested ways of teaching. Some of the important topics covered during the training included- Objectives of Language Teaching, Multilingualism, Constructivism, the sub-skills of Reading, Writing, Listening &amp; Speaking, Vocabulary Reinforcement, Grammar in Context, Product and Process Approaches of Writing and Language Assessment. During the course of the two-day training programme, the teachers had ample opportunities to get a hands-on learning of the various key aspects of language teaching. The teachers were also made to demonstrate a real-time teaching scenario by giving them various excerpts from Grade-IX English Textbooks.<br>The programme came to an end on the second day, i.e. 18<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0of August 2018 at 3:30 PM with the presentation of certificates to the teacher trainees by the Resource Persons. The Resource Persons were also felicitated by the Coordinator of LFHSS, Mr. Zakir Hussain with Certificates of Appreciation on behalf of the School Management.<br>\u00a0<br><strong>AWARD &amp;
