The World Red Cross Day was observed at Livingstone Foundation International along with the rest of the International Community on 8th<\/sup> of May 2024. The event was held during the School Morning Assembly which was led by the NCC Cadets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pivotal idea of the event was expressed by Miss Suangrai Newmai of Grade XII Arts who talked about the spirit of compassion and solidarity and providing a vital assistance to those affected by conflicts, natural disasters, and health emergencies, who risked their lives to save others and reaffirm our commitment to the principles of humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, and unity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The World Red Cross Day is observed each year in order to honor and celebrate the remarkable work of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies around the world. It is done so to recognize the courage, dedication, and humanity of these organizations and their volunteers who tirelessly serve communities in need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
