Students from Livingstone Foundation International, Dimapur, attended a briefing and consultation session on \u201cWorking in Japanese Agriculture\u201d at Zone Niathu by The Park on 27th<\/sup> August 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was organized by the National Chamber of Agriculture (Japan) in collaboration with ARMS. Students from Grade-XII Science and LFI College, accompanied by four faculty members, gained valuable insights into Japan\u2019s agricultural sector. Oota Masami, First Secretary of Food and Agriculture (Japan), welcomed the students and briefed them on the session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event featured presentations from eight company heads, showcasing various aspects of Japanese agriculture, including farm operations and employment opportunities. After a short break, booths were set up for further deliberation and inquiries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall, the session sensitized participants to Japan\u2019s growing demand for agricultural workforce and the opportunities available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
