On the occasion of World Menstrual Hygiene Day on 28th May 2022, an awareness programme cum distribution of hygiene products was carried out at Supermarket Bazaar, Dimapur. The programme was a collaborative effort of Menstrual Health Initiative Nagaland, Breeze Women Welfare Association, Community Health Initiative, Women Helpline Nagaland and Dimapur 24×7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LFI students from Grade 12 along with their mentor, Ms. Medozhanuo Tepa took part in the event by distributing free sanitary pads, menstrual hygiene fliers and water to the female street\u00a0 vendors and daily wagers around the vicinity of the bazaar. While distributing the kits, the students also conveyed awareness messages on menstrual hygiene to the women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
