RESULT DECLARATION DAY PROGRAM 2018
The Annual Result Declaration Day Programme 2018 was held at the Junior High Campus on 29th March 2018. The programme which started at 9:00 AM was hosted by Mr. Vernon Fernandez as the MC. It began with the School Prayer led by Mr. Karan Ghebring.
This year the programme was made all the more jubilant by the presentation of the Deen Dayal Philately Scholarship to 4 students from our school by the official from Postal Department, Mr. Imti. The Scholarships were presented by the Chairman, Mr. Andrew Ahoto.
The first part of the Academic and Non-Academic Awards Ceremony was the presentation of the Non-Academic Awards in the form of the Best Boy and Best Girl Awards in five categories viz. Grade-I to III; Grade-IV to VI; Grades-VII & VIII; Grade-IX & X and Grade-XI & XII. This was followed by the award of the Best Classes (Overall Excellence) and Best Classes (Decoration) in four categories; Grade-I to III; Grade-IV to VI; Grades-VII & VIII; and Grade-IX to XII. The awards for the Best Monitors were also presented in the above five categories. The Junior Category Awards (Non-Academic) were presented by the Administrator, Mr. Arthur Edwards while the Academic Awards (Junior High) were presented by the Director Junior High, Mrs. Ani Yepthomi. The Senior Category Awards (Both Academic & Non-Academic) were presented by the Chairman, Mr. Andrew Ahoto. The Co-curricular Awards session was led by Mr. Vernon Fernandez for Junior High and Mr. Zakir Hussain for the Senior School.
The Academic result declaration followed promptly after the Co-Curricular Awards were presented where the results of the Final (Annual) Examination 2017-18 session was declared by Mr. Vernon Fernandez and Mr. Zakir Hussain for Junior High and Senior School respectively. During the Result Declaration, along with their Progress Report Cards, the 1st and the 2nd Rank holders were presented with the Livingstone Foundation Society Meritorious Scholarship in the form of 25% and 10% Concession in Admission as well as Monthly Fees by the Chairman.
Lastly, the Champion House was declared by Mr. Zakir Hussain, Coordinator. This year Blue (Matthew) House bagged the Champion House. They were presented with a huge 10 pounds Cake which bore the School Logo and the Champions Trophy. This was presented to the House Masters, House Misses and House Captains of the Blue House by the Chairman, Mr. Andrew Ahoto.
Earlier in the programme, a brief word of encouragement was given by the Administrator, Mr. Arthur Edwards followed by the Announcements and Information for the New Session of 2018-19 by the Chairman, Mr. Andrew Ahoto. The programme came to a solemn close with the School Song led by Ms. Aleno Khatso. After the programme came to an end, the students were guided to separate Classrooms for issuing their Progress Report Cards. This was followed by the Session Ending Meeting of the Staff at the Chapel Hall.
