NATIONAL METEOROLOGICAL OLYMPIAD 2025

Five State Olympiad Toppers from Livingstone Foundation International were felicitated during the celebration of the 150 years of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) at a grand Foundation Day Celebration which was conducted from 13^th to 15^th January 2025 at New Delhi.

The five state toppers from LFI, Master Mrinmoy Dey of Grade-VIII, Ms. Oshee Verma of Grade-VIII, Ms. Sayantika Sharma of Grade-VIII, Ms. Gracy Mehta of Grade-IX and Ms. Suruchi Bharti of Grade-XI had the opportunity of interacting and competing with other toppers representing various states and union territories of India. They were felicitated on the 13^th of January 2025 by Dr. Mrutyunjay Mohapatra, Director General of Meteorology, IMD at Mausam Bhawan, New Delhi.

On the 14^th of January 2025, the students had a unique experience of celebrating and being a part of the 150^th Foundation Day of India Meteorological Department (IMD) at Bharat Mandapam where the event was marked by the presence of the honourable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi as the Chief Guest, who encouraged the youth with his motivating and inspirational words. Apart from participating in the competition, the students also had the opportunity of learning extraordinary things about weather phenomena and climate change.
