ROAD SAFETY AWARENESS PROGRAMME BY HONDA 2024
A one-day programme on Road Safety Awareness was hosted at Livingstone Foundation International on the 4th of December 2024. The programme which was conducted as part of a CSR initiative by Honda Motorcycles & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. was divided into three separate sessions for students of Grades-I to XII.
The main speakers and resource persons on the occasion were Mr. Abhilash Singh, Area In-Charge and Mr. Ravinder Kumar, Section Manager, Road Safety Training & Promotion, East Region, Honda Motorcycles & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. They were accompanied by Mr. Yakub Wanghu Konyak and Mr. Amit, Sales Consultants from Riven Honda, Dimapur.
The interactive session mostly dwelt on the various aspects of road safety and the ways and means to mitigate the causes of road accidents in India. The resource persons also elaborated on Honda’s vision of a collision-free society in which all people can move freely guided by their curiosity, with a sense of security and peace of mind.
The Road Safety Awareness Programme at Livingstone Foundation International also amplified Honda’s April 2021 announcement of its goal of achieving zero fatalities in traffic accidents involving Honda motorcycles and automobiles worldwide by 2050. Honda is working toward a collision-free society, not only as its social responsibility, but also to realize a joyful future for all.
