Observance Of International Human Rights Day 2018

Along with the rest of the global community, Livingstone Foundation Hr. Sec. School also observed the International Human Rights Day on 28th November 2018. The day was observed in both the blocks of the school by organizing special Morning Assemblies.
At the New Campus, during the Morning Assembly, the School Prayer was led by Mr. Vernon Fernandez while the significance of the day was said by Ms. Supongbenla Longkumer, Counsellor of the school who spoke on the various facets and importance of the Human Rights. On the occasion, a special number was presented by Miss Era Ayemi of Grade-IX. The school song was led by Ms. Aleno Khatso. During the 4th and 5th Periods, the students from Grades-I to VIII participated in numerous competitions on the theme of Human Rights which included Painting, Slogan Writing, Poetry Composition and Essay Writing.
At the Old Campus, the Morning Assembly was led by the Red House. During the programme, Ms. Nikse Sangma spoke on the significance of the day. A special song was also presented by Ms. Gaibimei Kamei of Grade-XI Arts.
The students in both the campuses also made various charts on Human Rights and decorated the display boards, classrooms and corridors.
