India School Merit Awards 2018
After scrutinizing more than 1300 survey forms, Livingstone Foundation Hr. Sec. School was ranked as No.1 School in India under the Top Day-cum-Boarding School – Parameter Wise for ‘Co-curricular Education’ by Education Today. The Award was presented at the Annual India School Merit Awards Function held at Bengaluru on 8th of December 2018. The Award was received on behalf of the school by its Director, Mrs. Ani Yepthomi. The school was also ranked at No.16 in India, No.1 in Nagaland and No.1 in Dimapur as well for its overall excellence among India’s Top 20 Day-cum-Boarding Schools. Top 200 Schools & 50 Pre-Schools in ‘International , Boarding, CBSE, ICSE, State, Boys & Girls’ & Pre-School category have been selected out of the survey that was conducted by the Assessment Team. The schools have been categorized under 10 Parameters i.e., Academic Reputation, Individual Attention, Infrastructure Provision, Innovative Leadership Management Quality, Co-Curricular Activities and Value Education.
Livingstone Foundation Hr. Sec. School has been awarded the No. 1 School under the parameter of ‘Co-curricular Education’ because of its incredible efforts in enhancing the area of skill development of the students by incorporating numerous skill-based activities and events throughout the academic session of the school every year. The school does not emphasize on academic excellence alone but puts extra focus on co-curricular education. The school’s unique and amazing excellence of conducting as many as 170 activities out of a total of 220 working days has been highly appreciated by educationists across the country for which the school has been duly recognized for its efforts in bringing about a transformation through activities and beyond-classroom learning rather than the traditional chalk & talk method of learning.
The India’s School Merit Awards 2018 was based on overall Jury Rating, Parent’s Votes (80,521 votes) and the Education Today Team Analysis (Perception Based). LFHSS has been adjudged among the Top-20 Schools on the basis of its Holistic Approach towards the development of its students through Co-Curricular Education and Academic Coordination which was highly appreciated at the national educational circles.
