1ST YMCA NE FUTSAL TOURNAMENT 2024
A team of six players and one coach from Livingstone Foundation International took part in the first ever YMCA North East Region Futsal Tournament which was held on 15th June 2024 at Shangpung, Jaintia Hills District, Meghalaya.
The team from LFI represented YMCA, Dimapur, Nagaland and comprised of Tonoto R. Zhimomi, Hikivi G. Khujumi, Jared A. Awomi, Takalemba Jamir, Khiugiangai Panmei and Tokivi D. Achumi. They were led by the PE Mentor and coach, Mr. Rokosakho.
The team went on to the Semi Finals where they had to cede their formidable position to the boys from Shangpung YMCA. Several YMCAs from the north eastern region states of Nagaland, Meghalaya and Mizoram participated in the said tournament.
