3RD NAGALAND OLYMPIC & PARALYMPIC GAMES 2024

Students of Livingstone Foundation International School & College made it big in a grand display of their prowess in the Pencak Silat Discipline as part of the 3rd Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Games which was held at the Emmanuel Hall, Y. Zhimo Colony, Dimapur on 15th & 16th February 2024.

It is a matter of great pride for the Stonites that Mr. Kevin, a 4th Semester Arts student from LFI College brought home 3 Gold and 1 Silver Medals. Mr. Imnatoshi and Mr. Jon, both from Grade-XII Arts won 2 Gold Medals each while Mr. Imnatoshi earned for himself an extra Silver Medal as well. The girls were not left behind as Ms. Avikali of 2nd Semester Commerce from LFI College also bagged 1 Gold and 3 Silver Medals. The Pencak Silat Coach of LFI, Mr. Yangertoshi also made a haul of medals which included 1 each of Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals.

It may be mentioned that the opening ceremony of the Pencak Silat Discipline under the 3rd Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Games was held on 15th February 2024, coinciding with the 5th Anniversary Celebration of the Nagaland Pencak Silat Association which was graced by Mr. Zasivikho Zakiesato, President, Dimapur Urban Council Chairmen Federation as the Special Guest. The event concluded on the 16th of February 2024 with Mr. Keoshu Yimchunger, Hon’ble MLA & Advisor, Youth Resources and Sports, gracing the occasion as the Special Guest and Mr. H. Khehovi Yeptho, Chief Patron, Nagaland Pencak Silat Association & Former MLA & Advisor as the Honoured Guest.
