MOTHER’S DAY CELEBRATION 2023
The junior students and mentors belonging to Prep-I to Grade-V of Livingstone Foundation International organized a fun-filled and emotional programme to honour all the mothers on the occasion of Mother’s Day at the LFI Auditorium on the 12th of May 2023. The event was conducted under the theme ‘Mothers love is the fuel that enables a normal human being to do the impossible.’
The brief but enthusiastic programme was led by Miss Alovi Swu of Grade-VB and Miss Kipang C. Phom of Grade-VA as the MCs. The programme began with Scripture Reading by Miss Vivi Awomi of Grade-III followed by invocation prayer pronounced by Miss Aotila Aier of Grade-VB. Some of the highlights of the programme included Ode to Mothers by Miss Emilo, Grade-I, Miss Florence, Grade-II, Miss Choi, Grade-III and Miss Donvarin, Grade-IV, a melodious number entitled ‘Mamas’ by Miss Ruangriu Panmei of Grade-VA, Remix by Miss Sunepnaro of Grade-IV and Master Aditya Rai of Grade-VA, Ramp Walk by students of Prep-I, Prep-II and Grade-I and a heart warming Poetry Reading by Mr. Harikh Deka. It was also marked by an emotional group number entitled ‘A Hug from my Mama’ which was performed by all the students of Grade-IV and Grade-V.
Heart-warming feelings filled the air with intimacy, gratitude, appreciation and acknowledgement as the parents shared their gratitude by thanking the School Management and the mentors for their contribution in shaping and moulding their children. The mentors and the children made an earnest effort to instill the importance of mother in a child’s life and worked hard to give out a stellar performance to let their mothers know how much they love and adore them.
The solemn programme came to its conclusion with a heartfelt vote of thanks proposed by Ms Aleno Khatso, English Mentor.
