WORLD SUNDAY SCHOOL DAY 2022
In commemoration of the auspicious occasion of the World Sunday School Day, the LFI Chapel Department organized an eventful and solemn programme for the boarders on 6th November 2022.
The programme was led by Ms. Medozhanuo Tepa , Chaplain and Counselor while the message was delivered by Ms. Zhimoholi Zhimomi, Chaplain.
During the occasion the Director of LFI, Mrs. Ani Yepthomi exhorted the congregation with her words of encouragement and wisdom. The boarders took part in special numbers, Bible memory verse recitations, and Choreography items.
The formal session concluded with Praise and Worship by the Chapel Committee. The second session included quiz competition and fun games followed by refreshments.
Robert Raikes started the first Sunday school on 14th September 1736 out of concern for the poor children. Since then, the first Sunday of November is celebrated as World Sunday School Day all over the world.
