LFI FOUNDATION DAY 2022
The Management, Mentors, Staff Members and Students of Livingstone Foundation International celebrated the Annual LFI Foundation Day on 15th October 2021 with a memorable function which was organized at the Basketball Court of the School Campus. The programme which began at 9:30 AM was led by Mr. Vernon Fernandez as the MC. The celebration of the Foundation Day also coincided with the Birthday of Dr. Andrew Ahoto Sema, Chairman, LFI.
It was a soulful moment when the Special Invitee on the occasion, Rev. Fr. Joe Mariadhas unfurled the School Flag after which he also exhorted the gathering with his encouraging words and a special prayer for the LFI family. This was followed by a special group song presented by the boys of LFI Hostel.
The keynote address was delivered by Mrs. Ani Yepthomi, Director, LFI during which she stated that the Foundation Day is not only about celebrating one’s identity but also about uniting the Livingstone Foundation Community and bringing about a sense of belongingness. She called upon the gathering to let the occasion be a contemplation of achievements and thus feel a sense of pride on being a part of the monumental history of LFI. She further expressed that this day is a celebration of the rich fabric of bond that weaves everyone together into wholesome men and women who can confidently stride through difficult situations despite all the odds and challenges.
The Stonite heads and mentors led by the Director, Mrs. Ani Yepthomi also gave a warm felicitation to the Chairman on the occasion of his Birthday by cutting a beautiful cake and singing the Birthday Song. The mentors and staff members also presented the Chairman with a special gift on the occasion.
One of the most special parts of the celebration was the honouring of the mentors and staff members by the Management with appreciation certificates for their dedicated service rendered for the growth and progress of the LFI family. The certificates were presented by Rev. Fr. Joe Mariadhas, Dr. Andrew Ahoto Sema and Mr. Shyamal Nag.
