LFI ANNUAL FRESHERS’ MEET 2022
Livingstone Foundation International organized its Annual Freshers’ Meet on the 16th of September 2022. The function which was held at the LFI Auditorium from 10:00 AM onwards was compered by a host of students from Grade-XII which included Mr. Moachiten, Mr. Kabo Aye, Mr. Vikhoto Nicky Tase, Ms. Manshvi Rathore, Ms. Natasha Kharkongor and Ms. Nilivi G. Khujumi. The program was marked by numerous entertaining items from the students.
The programme began with the invocation prayer which was led by Ms. Zhimoholi Zhimomi, Chaplain of LFI followed by Welcome Address by Mr. Gavin Sangma on behalf of the Grade-XII students. As a befitting prelude to the main event of the programme which was the opening round of the Mr. & Miss Fresher Contest, Mr. Mhajamo Kithan rendered the air with a beautiful number.
The stage was then set for the most awesome part of the function which was the opening round of the Mr. & Miss Fresher Contest where the freshers of Grade-XI introduced themselves. Soon after, a memorable speech was delivered on behalf of the Grade-XII students by Ms. Cynthia Alemla Warlarpih of Grade-XII Sc. This was followed by a hilarious and fun-filled Cross Dress Fashion Show put up by Grade-XII students which was welcomed by echoes of laughter and applause which reverberated throughout the hall.
During the Talent Round of the Mr. & Miss Fresher Contest, the freshers exhibited their mind-boggling feats while displaying their innate talents in front of the audience and the esteemed panel of judges which included Mrs. Ani Yepthomi, Director LFI, Mr. Shiva Baidya, ANO, Ms. Parinaya Prem Sharma, Ms. Fresher 2021 and Mr. Tsaseli L. Sangtam, Mr. Fresher 2021.
At the end of the final round, Miss. Anna Zhimo of Grade-XI Arts was adjudged as the Miss Fresher 2022 while Mr. Ongba M. Angto of Grade-XI Sc was declared as the Mr. Fresher 2022. The winners were felicitated by the Director, Mrs. Ani Yepthomi.
The other highlights of the programme included a solo number by Ms. Ilo N. Chophy of Grade-XII Sc and a thrilling dance performance by the boarders of Grade-XII. The colourful and memorable programme came to its solemn conclusion with Vote of Thanks proposed by the new Mister and Miss Freshers which was followed by photo session and sumptuous lunch for all.
