TWO-DAY ROBOTICS SEMINAR HELD AT LIVINGSTONE FOUNDATION INTERNATIONAL

A two-day Robotics Seminar was organized by the Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) at Livingstone Foundation International on 26th and 27th October 2021.

The seminar was mainly focused on promoting the ‘Maker Movement’ which is a cultural trend that places value on an individual’s ability to be a creator of things as well as a consumer of things.

All together 35 selected students from Grades-VI to XI participated in the seminar which was led by three skilled trainers from ‘Know How 3D’, Mr. Ashish Bakliwal, Mr. Himangshu Gupta and Mr. Bishal Kashyap.

The primary objective of the event was to teach students how to create an obstacle avoiding robot.

On the first day of the seminar, the trainers taught the students the basic principles of robotics.

Various components to basic circuitry were covered during the process.

On the second day, the students were taught about the basics of coding and programming.

Later in the day, the students along with the trainers divided themselves into two teams and started developing their own robots.

By the end of the seminar both the teams successfully built fully-functional obstacle avoiding robots.

The entire seminar was coordinated by Mr. Abinash Konwar, mentor and in-charge of ATL, Livingstone Foundation International.
