Livingstone Foundation International, Dimapur, conducted an Awareness Programme on the Prevention of Substance Abuse on 16th October 2026, in collaboration with the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
The programme featured Mr Lhunkholal, Superintendent, NCB, and Mr Imsutoshi Lemtur, Inspector, NCB, as resource persons. They sensitised students to the harmful effects of substance abuse, the risks of addiction, and the importance of making informed and responsible choices.
The session emphasised the need for early awareness, prevention, and collective responsibility in addressing substance abuse among young people. Students were encouraged to adopt healthy habits, make responsible decisions, and contribute towards building a drug-free society.
This initiative reflects the school’s commitment to creating a safe and supportive learning environment while empowering students with the knowledge to lead healthier and more responsible lives.
Together, let us take a stand against substance abuse and work towards a healthier, safer, and drug-free future.
