The Bronze Award members of the International Award for Young People (IAYP) at Livingstone Foundation International took part in a short trek to Chumukedima View Point as part of their Physical Recreation activity.
The trek was an opportunity for students to build physical fitness, stamina, endurance, balance, and coordination while experiencing the challenges of an outdoor environment.
Along the way, students learned the importance of maintaining a steady pace, staying hydrated, taking necessary precautions, and being mindful of their physical abilities. Working together throughout the trek also encouraged perseverance, self-discipline, teamwork, and confidence.
More than just a physical activity, the experience allowed our students to step outdoors, challenge themselves, and develop a greater appreciation for an active and healthy lifestyle.
A step towards fitness, resilience, and personal growth.
