An evening of words, healing, and meaningful conversations unfolded at Livingstone Foundation International as Miss Merasen-na Jamir officially launched her 5th publication, “The Unpleasant Things We Do Not Talk About Before We Heal,” under 6th Finger Publishers.
The event brought together students, educators, and creators in a reflective gathering centered on grief, recovery, emotional struggles, and the courage to confront the silent battles many carry within themselves.
The program was gracefully hosted by Toshirenla Jamir (XI Arts), followed by a heartfelt dedication prayer by Ma’am Pratikshya Basnet. Alumni student and fellow author Imlijungla Aier shared a touching review of the book, while our Director Ma’am Ani Yepthomi delivered an inspiring address, encouraging students to embrace honesty, healing, and the power of using one’s voice to create understanding and change.
Our very own Arts Mentor, Sir Mahei, designed the book’s stunning cover art, beautifully bringing the emotions of the story to life through visual expression.
More than a book launch, the evening became a reminder that healing begins the moment silence is broken.
“Some stories are not written to impress the world, but to help someone survive it.”
