COMMUNITY SERVICE TOWARDS TRAFFIC POLICE PERSONNEL 2024
Continuing its mission of Community Service, the Management, Staff and Students of Livingstone Foundation International took part in a civic activity of Community Service towards the Traffic Police Personnel in Dimapur and Chumoukedima districts on the 16th of December 2024.
The activity was mainly undertaken to express profound gratitude towards the Traffic Personnel who sacrifice their peace and comfort in order to maintain a smooth flow of traffic and to provide a better service to the commuters even in the midst of stressful job conditions. The community service this year is also an endeavour of LFI to keep the thoughts and vision of Late Karan Ghebring who, as a mentor of LFI, had played an elemental role in furthering this noble service since it was launched in the year 2017.
The students and mentors were divided into two teams for both Dimapur and Chumoukedima Districts who distributed gift hampers to around 200 Traffic Personnel on duty. During the Community Service, the students also interacted with Mr. Meren Chenth NPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Officer In-charge (Traffic), Dimapur, Mr. N. Likao Odyuo and Officer In-charge (Traffic), Chumoukedima, Mr. Langakhum Yim during which they were also felicitated with tokens of gratitude from the Management, Staff and Students of LFI.
The officials, during their interactions, answered numerous questions posed by the students and clarified their doubts on matters related to day to day traffic management.
