ANNUAL FRESHERS’ MEET 2024

Livingstone Foundation International organized its Annual Freshers’ Meet 2024 on the 29th of June 2024. The function which was held at the LFI Auditorium from 2:00 PM onwards was compered by Mr. Moasunep Longchar, Mr. Yangernok Lemtor, Ms. Ishika Jaiswal and Ms. Pratiksha Prem Sharma. Numerous entertaining items from the students marked the entirety of the colourful event.

The programme began with the invocation prayer pronounced by Ms. Moiang Mukho of Grade-XII Science followed by Welcome Address by Mr. Kewigiakhai Mpom, Head Boy of LFI. The stage was then set for the most awesome part of the function which was the introduction round of the Mr. & Miss Fresher Contest where the freshers of Grade-XI introduced themselves. This was followed by a thumping performance of rhythmic dance performance entitled ‘May Zone’ by the Grade-XII Boys.

During the Talent Round of the Mr. & Miss Fresher Contest, the freshers exhibited their mind-boggling feats while displaying their innate talents in front of the audience and the esteemed panel of judges which included Mrs. Ani Yepthomi, Director LFI, Mr. Talikaba Longkumer, Ms. Zhimoholi S. Zhimomi, Chaplain LFI, Ms. Alice Konyak, Ms. Fresher 2023 and Mr. Medotso Peseyie, Mr. Fresher 2023.

Towards the end of the final Questionnaire Round, Miss. Mandira Rai of Grade-XI Science was adjudged as the Miss Fresher 2024 while Mr. Lohrii Pfoyio also of Grade-XI Science was declared as the Mr. Fresher 2024. The title of this year’s Most Talented Fresher went to Mr. Ajonba Thunru of Grade-XI Science while Ms. Yuvika Aye of Grade-XI Commerce and Mr. Azutha K. Achumi of Grade-XI Arts clinched the titles of Best Ethnic Wear and Best Personality respectively. The results were declared by Mrs. Ani Yepthomi, Director LFI.

The other highlights of the programme included a vibrant dance number entitled ‘Nachle Baliye’ by students of Grades-XII Arts and Commerce, Fashion Ramp Walk by students from Grade-XII Arts, an original number entitled ‘Contemplate’ by Mr. Ravineizo Rio and Mr. Jigsel Karma Phuntsho of Grade-XII Arts. The colourful and memorable event came to its solemn conclusion with the Closing Remarks and Vote of Thanks proposed by the new Mr. & Miss Fresher 2024.
