CBSE MENTORS’ TRAINING ON ART INTEGRATION  2024

A one day mentors’ training on Arts Integration was conducted at Livingstone Foundation International on 27th April 2024. The training was conducted by the Centre of Excellence under the Regional Office of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Guwahati with Mr. Anurodh Chitra, Principal, Delhi Public School, Dimapur as the Resource Person.

Altogether 60 mentors from CBSE schools across Dimapur and Chumoukedima districts attended the training. Apart from Livingstone Foundation International, the other schools which attended the training were St. Mary’s Hr. Sec. School, Hope Academy, Shalom Public School, Maple Tree School, Hollotoli School and Shemrock School. The main idea behind Arts Integration training was that the arts are often relegated to the sidelines, but we’ve done a deep dive into why it’s important for mentors to integrate the arts and how art integration in school can have a life-changing impact on children. The training was marked by power point presentations, group and individual activities and games.
