LXL IDEAS SCHOOL CINEMA TRAINING FOR MENTORS
The mentors of Livingstone Foundation International had a very wholesome and motivational session during a one-day training on School Cinema which was conducted by LXL Ideas Skill Education.
During the session, the trainer, Mr. Jayant Jalan walked the mentors through the various facets of life skills including problem solving, inter-personal, creative, intra-personal, entrepreneurship, emphatic skills and more.
He also impressed upon the mentors the immense role played by the mentors in developing the life skills of children and how School Cinema as a medium was helpful in aiding the mentors in this particular skill development.
The training session also highlighted the various cinemas and teacher’s manuals that are available from LXL Ideas to impart life skills training to the students in an all together different and unique set up where students can learn by visualizing through the medium of award winning cinemas.
To make his point, the trainer also played a cinema from the collection of cinemas available with School Cinema. The movie entitled ‘Super Girl’ from Grade-V weaved around the life of a young girl who dreamt of becoming a girl with super powers and ultimately learns that ‘Kindness’ is one super quality which is common among all the Super Heroes.
