INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION 2023
A young Stonite from Grade-V, Miss Ruangriu R. Panmei enthralled the audience at DDSC Stadium, Dimapur, with her beautiful performance of the popular patriotic Hindi Bollywood number ‘Teri Mitti’. She performed the song on behalf of Livingstone Foundation International as part of the celebration of the 77th Independence Day Celebration on 15th August 2023.
This year, the Chief Guest of the glorious occasion was Smti. Hekani Jakhalu, Hon’ble Advisor, Department of Industries and Commerce who unfurled the tri-color and inspected the parade. Apart from LFI, the other schools which performed patriotic songs and dance during the occasion were GHS, Lengrijan, Lorna’s Hr. Sec. School, Dimapur and Bethesda Hr. Sec. School, Dimapur.
The other highlights of the programme include Parade Review, March Past, Prize Distribution, Inauguration of Stalls and Retreat by 43rd Assam Rifles.
