LFI ANNUAL FRESHERS’ MEET 2023

Livingstone Foundation International organized its Annual Freshers’ Meet 2023 on the 1st of July 2023. The function which was held at the LFI Auditorium from 11:00 AM onwards was compered by Mr. Kevi Mere, Mr. Kakupu Achumi, Ms. Pakichunwiliu Newmai and Ms. Kriti Dubey. The program was marked by numerous entertaining items from the students.

The programme began with the invocation prayer pronounced by Ms. Zhimoholi Zhimomi, Chaplain of LFI followed by Welcome Address by Mr. Henjoy Ham on behalf of the Grade-XII students. This was followed by an enlightening and motivational speech by Dr. Andrew Ahoto Sema, Chairman LFI, wherein he spoke about students imbibing good qualities to possess a life of discipline and integrity. He highlighted how Livingstone Foundation International has as its goal of producing thought leaders, he stated that the school has always endeavored to provide holistic education to the learners at all levels with an aim to make students complete and wholesome citizens with moral values and 21st century skills.

The stage was then set for the most awesome part of the function which was the introduction round of the Mr. & Miss Fresher Contest where the freshers of Grade-XI introduced themselves. This was followed by a hilarious and fun-filled Cross Dress Fashion Show put up by Grade-XII Arts students which was welcomed by echoes of laughter and applause which reverberated throughout the hall.

During the Talent Round of the Mr. & Miss Fresher Contest, the freshers exhibited their mind-boggling feats while displaying their innate talents in front of the audience and the esteemed panel of judges which included Dr. Andrew Ahoto Sema, Chairman LFI, Mrs. Ani Yepthomi, Director LFI, Ms. Vimeyieno Tsukru, Ms. Anna Zimo, Ms. Fresher 2022 and Mr. Ongba M. Angto, Mr. Fresher 2022.

At the end of the final Questionnaire Round, Miss. Alice Konyak of Grade-XI Science was adjudged as the Miss Fresher 2023 while Mr. Medotso Peseyie of Grade-XI Commerce was declared as the Mr. Fresher 2023. The title of this year’s Most Talented Fresher went to Mr. Titus of Grade-XI Science while Mr. Sam of Grade-XI Arts clinched the title of Most Popular Fresher. The winners were felicitated by the Director, Mrs. Ani Yepthomi along with last year’s Mr. & Miss Fresher.

The other highlights of the programme included a thrilling dance performance titled ‘Bollywood Dance’ by students of Grade-XII Commerce and Remix Choreography by the LFI Boarders. The colourful and memorable programme came to its solemn conclusion with the Closing Remarks and Vote of Thanks proposed by Mrs. Ani Yepthomi which was followed by photo session and refreshment for all.
