AWARENESS SESSION ON BOARD EXAMINATION 2023
An Awareness Session of Parents / Guardians, Mentors and Students for the upcoming CBSE Board Examination was conducted at the LFI Auditorium on the 13th of February 2023.
The session, which was mainly intended as a guidance programme for the students of Grades-X and XII, was led by Mr. Pauly Varghese, Academic Dean as the MC. Mrs. Ani Yepthomi, Director of LFI exhorted the gathering of parents, guardians, heads, mentors and students during her welcome address. She encouraged the students to maintain the practice of integrity not only during their exams but also throughout their lives. She also highlighted on the need and necessity of empowerment for the students which will help them achieve greater things in life and also make them bolder and stronger and also the ability to take charge of their lives.
A special prayer and blessing was also invoked upon the students by Mr. Alemsunep Jamir, Pastor of World Impact Community Church, Dimapur. Prior to the prayer and blessings, the pastor also encouraged the students to be upright and utilize their time wisely and to be studious and prayerful.
Earlier, the invocation prayer was pronounced by the LFI Chaplain, Ms. Zhimoholi S. Zhimomi while the CBSE guidelines on Board Exams were explained by Mr. Shyamal Nag, Vice Principal. A few tips and words of advice on how to get ready for the examination was delivered by Mr. Pauly Varghese.
On behalf of the students, the Head Boy, Mr. Mhajamo Kithan and the Head Girl, Ms. Bonovili Chishi spoke on the general preparedness of the students for the examination. Time was also given to the parents and guardians to share their thoughts. The Admit Cards were later distributed to the students by their respective Grade Mentors.
