ANNUAL GRADE-WISE PICNIC CUM OUTING 2023
Students of Grades-X and XII had a welcome break from their mundane routine in the form of the Annual Grade-Wise Picnic cum Outing from 8th to 10th of February 2023. During the course of the picnics which were undertaken in various picnic spots in and around Dimapur, the students had the rare exposure of being amidst nature and also had lots of fun while partaking in scrumptious lunch along with fun games and nature walks through beautiful landscapes along with their peers and mentors.
The various venues for the picnic cum outing were Noune Resort, Green Park and the Nagaland Bamboo Resource Centre. The students not only enjoyed the adventurous trips but also had the opportunity to learn about some crucial aspects like bamboo resources, wild life and ecological conservation, etc. They also enjoyed some thrilling moments like boat riding, zip-lining, VR gaming, cycling, toy-train riding and rock climbing besides partaking in some very interesting and fun games.
Overall, the picnic cum outing for the students was a wonderful experience for both the students as well as mentors as they got a much needed respite from their monotonous routine of studies and books and got an opportunity to bond with nature while also developing a sense of understanding and friendliness among their peers and with their mentors.
