INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES 2022

Along with the rest of the global community, Livingstone Foundation International also observed the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3rd of December 2022 at the LFI School Campus. As part of the observance, a special assembly was conducted by the senior students during the morning hour.

The significance of the day was presented by Mr. Chumremo Kikon of Grade-XB. An entertaining and thought provoking play was also enacted by the students from Grades-X to XII on the occasion. The main idea behind the play was to project that a person with disability can become some one great in life and give back to the society.

The students of Grades-I to VIII also displayed Group Posters and Individual Slogans on the theme of disability. International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) is a UN day that is celebrated every year on 3rd December. The day is about promoting the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities at every level of society and development, and to raise awareness of the situation of persons with disabilities in all aspects of political, social, economic, and cultural life.
