NCC-CATC AT ST. JOSEPH COLLEGE, JAKHAMA  2022

Girl Cadets of NCC, Livingstone Foundation International took part in the Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) 2022 which was held at St. Joesph College, Jakhama from 25th June to 4th July 2022. The Camp was organized by the 1 Nagaland Girls BN NCC, Kohima under Col. Abdul Ahmed Khan as the Commanding Officer.

A total of 372 cadets from 31 schools and colleges from across Nagaland participated in this year’s CATC which was marked by a host of activities which included Drill Practice, Weapons Training, Firing Practice, Battle Craft, map Reading, Adventure Trainings like Hiking and Trekking, Tent Pitching and also Cultural Programs, Games & Sports, etc.

During the course of the training the cadets were also imparted classes on Indian Army War Heroes, Governmental Schemes and Financial Planning and Study of Battles including the Indo-Pak Wars. The central lectures mainly focused on different modes of entry into the Armed Forces, Personality Development and Leadership, medical entry into Armed Forces, First Aid, Social Awareness and Community Development.

It was a matter of great pride for the cadets of LFI that Cdt. Bonovili Chishi received the 2nd Prize among the Best Firer and Cdt. Manshvi Rathore bagged the 2nd Prize in Best Declamation.

The sole purpose and aim of the CATC 2022 was to develop team spirit among the cadets along with personality development and boosting of self confidence and resilience.
