LFI STUDENTS AND STAFF ATTEND TRAINING ON FIELD TESTING KIT (FTK) FOR WOMEN

The students along with few staff members of Livingstone Foundation International attended a one-day training on ‘Using Field Testing Kit (FTK) for Women’ at Nagaland State Laboratory, Dimapur on 13th of October 2021.

The training was conducted by DWSM, PHED, Dimapur Division.

As a part of the event, Mr. A Rolland Kikon, State Chemist trained the women on how to use FTK for testing water impurities.

While highlighting the importance of knowing the water quality which we use on a daily basis, he also talked about certain health hazards linked with poor water quality.

During the course of the training, hands on activities were also conducted where the participants were made to use the water testing kits.

Meanwhile the Management of LFI has thanked ‘Act of Kindness’ for giving the students and staff an opportunity to be part of this training and termed it as an insightful and beneficial program.
