Livingstone Foundation College participated
in the Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament
Programme held at Eastern Christian College, Padumpukhuri, Dimapur, on 10th March 2026.
The theme of the programme was “50 Years of Emergency: Lessons for Indian Democracy.” A total of six students from the college participated in the programme. The event provided a valuable platform for students to deliver speeches and express their views on democratic values, the importance of the Constitution, and the lessons learned from the Emergency period in India. Students actively participated in the speech competition and shared their perspectives on issues related to democracy and national development.
The programme was both informative and inspiring, helping students develop confidence in public speaking, encouraging critical thinking, and enhancing their understanding of democratic responsibilities and civic awareness.
