ICSSR sponsored two-day National seminar on “Integrating Skill Development Programs in Higher Education “
Livingstone Foundation International College organized a Two-Day National Seminar sponsored by Indian Council of Social Science Research NERC Shillong on the theme ‘Integrating Skill Development Programs in Higher Education’ on 10th and 11th February 2022. Prof. M Aleminla Ao (Pro Vice Chancellor, NU) graced the Inaugural Session as the Guest of Honour. The Keynote Address was delivered by Prof. B, Panda (Honorary Director, ICSSR, NERC Shillong). For the Valedictory function, Mr. Sashi Wapang Lanu, IRS, Additional Commissioner, Central G.S.T Dimapur was the Guest of Honour.
The sessions were conducted on blended mode with more than 70 participants from all over the country. Eminent Speakers from different fields of Academia, Social and Public Sectors such as Prof. Buno Liegise, Dept. of Education, NU, Dr.Rokolhuii Keditsu, Assoc. Prof, Dept. of Horticulture, NU, Mr. Chiden Yaden, Director Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Govt. of Nagaland and Ms. Rozelle Mero, Social Entrepreneur and MD, The People Channel, took part in the Seminar. Altogether, 11 research scholars from different universities representing Delhi University, Central University of Kashmir, Pondicherry University and Nagaland University presented their papers.
