REGIONAL LEVEL INDIAN YOUNG INVENTORS & INNOVATORS CHALLENGE 2019

The Regional Level Indian Young Inventors & Innovators Challenge (IYIIC) was held at Livingstone Foundation International on 19th November 2019. The programme was organized by Breeze Women Welfare Association in collaboration with LFI and was catalyzed and supported by the Network of Organizations for Science and Technology Communication (NOSTC), New Delhi.
All together 24 students from LFI took part in the programme where they presented their projects through power point presentations and displayed various scientific models. A total of 10 projects were selected during the programme to represent the State during the National Level of IYIIC which is going to be held at Hyderabad on 30th November 2019. Earlier the programme started with the invocation prayer by Mr. Samuel Ch. Hmar followed by Welcome Speech by Mr. Zakir Hussain, Coordinator. After the projects were presented, Mr. Hussain proposed the Vote of Thanks.
The basic approach of the IYIIC is based on the principle of ‘learning by doing’ on issues of one immediate environment and furthers the spirit and mandate of ‘education for sustainable development’ of UNESCO. 11 students along with two mentors, Mr. Abinash Konwar and Ms. Sukhumbeni Lotha will be participating in the National Level IYIIC to be held at Hyderabad City on 30th November 2019.
