LFI ANTI-TOBACCO PLEDGE 2019

In a strong step towards making Livingstone Foundation International a totally tobacco free zone, the students along with all the mentors undertook an Anti-Tobacco Pledge across both the campuses on 1st November 2019. The pledge was administered during the school morning assembly.
At the Senior School, the pledge was administered by Mr. Zakir Hussain, Coordinator while at the Junior High, the pledge was administered by Mr. Vernon Fernandez, Asst. Coordinator. The pledge was undertaken to create awareness among the students and the mentors against the menace of tobacco products including smoking and chewing of tobacco products and also to make an impression in the minds of the young children to keep themselves away from such habits from a young age.
The pledge reads, ‘I take the pledge that I shall never smoke and consume any type of tobacco products and shall also motivate my family or acquaintances to not to smoke and use any tobacco products. I shall keep the campus of my Educational Institution tobacco free and shall also motivate my colleagues to do the same.
