CBSE CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAMME ON UPHOLDING ETHICS & INTEGRITY IN SCHOOL, CHARIS HIGH 2019

 

A Two-Day Capacity Building Programme on Upholding Ethics & Integrity in School was conducted by the CBSE Centre of Excellence, Guwahati at Charis High Academy, Chumukedima on 27th & 28th September 2019. It was attended by 19 teachers from 8 CBSE Schools across Dimapur and adjoining areas including Livingstone Foundation International. The programme was led by the Resource Person from COE Guwahati, Mr. Digesh Nath.
The training programme, which started on 27th September at around 9:00 AM, mainly focused on two important aspects, i.e. ethics and integrity that needs to be carried out by the teachers in schools. The CBP broadly touched on topics such as ‘Understanding Integrity’, ‘Approaching Ethics and Integrity through AV media time’, Concern, Influence and Control’ and ‘Steps to Ethical Decision- Making’. The resource person highlighted how teachers can shape the lives of students in the process of having an ideal quality of being honest and having strong moral principles.
The mentors who attended the Capacity Building Programme on behalf of LFI were Mr. Bipul Sangma, Mr. Abinash Konwar and Ms. Sukhumbeni Lotha. The two-day session came to a close on 28th September 2019 with the distribution of certificates to the trainee teachers and a photo session. The other schools which attended the CBP apart from LFI were Hollotoli School, Assam Rifles Public School Jalukie, G. Rio School Kohima, K.V. Sewak, Hope Academy, St. Joseph Global School and Charis High Academy.
