A Career Counselling cum Time Management & Stress Management Workshop was conducted by the London School of Trends for the Grade-X & XII students at the LFHSS Chapel Hall on 29th January 2018. The workshop which started at 10:00 AM was led by the main resource person, Mr. Sandeep Madan, Executive Director of London School of Trends, New Delhi.

The hour long workshop mainly focused on the key aspects of choosing an allied career option in an industry like fashion which will open up new avenues of opportunities for the students. According to Mr. Madan, Time Management will help the students for their upcoming Board Examinations. He advised the students to allot separate timings for their various activities including physical and mental exercises, studies, families and friends, etc. He also remarked that the more the minds of the students are relaxed and happy better will be the results of the students.

Speaking about stress, Mr. Madan said that it is just a state of our mind and the students should effectively control over it and should handle it so that it does not interfere with their daily routine. Highlighting the changes in career options for modern students, he was of the opinion that in the near future, jobs will be solely based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) due to diverse specifications and development in technology.

Mr. Sandeep Madan also gave a brief talk on the London School of Trends based in London, England and the various courses in Fashion Designing and Interior Designing that are offered by the School at its New Delhi Campus which is right now the only campus of LST in India. He also stated that the famous Bollywood Fashion Designer, Mr. Manish Malhotra and Bollywood Actress, Twinkle Khanna were the Chief Patrons of the School. After the workshop was over there was a Group Photograph session with the students as well as a one-on-one session with the resource person. Earlier the welcome address was presented by Mr. Zakir Hussain, Coordinator. The programme ended with the vote of thanks proposed by Mr. Sanjeev Momin, Asst. Coordinator.
